Common questions
- Do my clients need a HandlerHub account?
- No. Invoice anyone by email, even if they aren't on HandlerHub yet. Every client gets an invite to join, free, but they can pay the link before they ever claim the account.
- Can I bill people I worked with before HandlerHub?
- Yes. Add them as a client with their email and start invoicing immediately. They'll get an invite to join HandlerHub but aren't required to.
- Does HandlerHub take a cut of my invoices?
- Yes, 2%. On a $1,000 invoice that's $20. It's separate from Stripe's processing fee (standard ~2.9% + 30¢ on cards), and you only pay it on invoices you actually send. A booking marketplace typically takes 15 to 20% of the same job, so 2% keeps the vast majority of every payment with you.
